Description
Oh, Floppers! (excuse the Slugterenian curse). This art has taken me much longer, than it should. 
I was hoping to finish it by the 7-th of September, but I haven't managed it. 
Then I thought I would finish it by the 14-th of September, and again I was wrong. Altogether, I've been working on this art three weeks and two days. 
And this just one character (plus a slug). 
But WHAT a character it is!!! 
Once again this is Eli Shane, the main character of "Slugterra" TV Series AND movies, and his number one slug Burpy.
I thought he would be easier to do, than molenoids from my previous art, and THE HELL he was!!! One of the main reasons for the fact, that it has taken me so long to finish it, was that Eli is an EXTREMELY FRAGILE CHARACTER!!! He is like a flower to me. A very rare and a very fragile flower, which can be easily DESTROYED by the slightest wrong tiny line, detail or a colour!(yes, I know, you don't usually compare a male character with a flower, as you can ruin his reputation and your own, BUT in Eli's case I simply can't think of better comparision, I am sorry And please, don't make any rude jokes about us. Both he and I are straight!)
Anyhow, this art was based on a scene from the episode of "Slugterra" TV Series, called "The Lightwell".
This is one of my most favourite episodes, frankly speaking, because it is focused mostly on Eli, whom I greatly admire! Burpy suddenly felt very sick, and Eli had to live through many dangers and obstacles to cure his friend. (This explains the title of my art. 
)
Though this time I have used only one screenshot as a base, it was hard for me to restore it, because Burpy's fire was lightening Eli's face and I wanted to attempt to imprint this effect on my art. I also decided to keep Eli's eyes in their original bright blue colour (they are of a different one on the original screenshot). I don't know, if it was a right idea. His eyes still look NOTHING like the original, no matter, how much I tried to follow the original lines. The eyes are always the hardest part to draw (or rather restore) for me.
Anyway, I've tried to do my VERY BEST on Eli Shane, putting all my deep respect, adoration and admiration for him in it.
And I think, I am quite happy with the result. I hope you like it too. Any comments or critics are greatly desired! Your opinion means a lot to me.
